Tired of the old ‘had an accident at work?’ advertising format, personal injury lawyers are getting increasingly creative – experimenting with mediums like comedy and song.

But Camden-based Osbornes Solicitors have taken this process of innovation one step further – launching a campaign to pedal peddle the services of its ambulance chasing division through celebration of the Tour de France.

The link between cycling and accident claims? Death…

According to Osbornes’ ‘Le Tour de France’ death infographic (since removed by the firm) “in its history 4 competitors have died during the Tour de France but several spectators have also been fatally injured.”

The delightfully illustrated infographic proceeds to chronicle these tragedies in detail, recounting, amongst other deaths, the terrible ends met by two child spectators in Tour de France-related road accidents.

Tastefully released to coincide with the 45th anniversary of the death of Bradley Wiggins’ hero, British road race World Champion Tom Simpson, the infographic draws to a close with the story of a woman in her 60s hit by a police motorcycle while crossing the road.
