Victoria Lawson (pictured), the LPC graduate who has admitted to stealing from John Lewis via a fake refund scam (see this morning’s story), stood for South Holland district council last year as a Conservative local election candidate, Legal Cheek can reveal.

The BPP Law School alumnus’s message to voters on the Holbeach Town Ward newsletter reads as follows:

“Dear resident,

My name is Victoria Lawson, I live in Holbeach and have been educated at Spalding High and Grammar Schools. I graduated with a history degree from the University of Huddersfield, and have gone on to successfully complete the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course with the BPP Law School in London. I play both the piano and clarinet, I love to read and learn, and my leisure time allows me to participate in sporting activities.

At the age of 24, I hope to bring new and creative ideas to the town, which can inspire younger generations to become part of the community and in turn allow it to fulfil its potential. My experiences with pro bono work, have taught me the importance of listening to the needs of others and of providing help and community spirit, which I will always endeavour to do on behalf of the people of Holbeach Town.

My best wishes”

Thanks to Sandman for the tip.
