Chambers tea
This law-themed tea cosy was spotted at York boutique hotel ‘The Judge’s Lodgings‘.
Between 1806-1976 the Grade 1-listed townhouse in which the hotel is based acted as the private residence for judges who were attending the Assize Courts at York.
We applaud the effort by staff, but — and this is a big “but” — it does appear to be a barrister’s, rather than a judge’s, wig.
