Law firm marketing departments taken note, this is how you should use social media

An Aussie-based solicitor obsessed with taking court building-selfies is probably the best thing on Instagram right now.

Andrew Wiseman (pictured below) — who is the brainchild behind the Instagram account @Wisemanlawyers — has adopted a novel approach to promoting his firm’s legal services.

The Aussie lawyer, who according to his website is the “principal solicitor” at Queensland’s motoring offence specialists Wiseman Lawyers, has one of the greatest Instagram accounts Legal Cheek has come across.

Firstly, this solicitor loves a selfie.

The social media account is chock-full of images of Wiseman staring pensively into the camera outside various court buildings across Australia. And with almost 2000 followers, it appears Wiseman has fans.

Selfies

However if selfies aren’t your thing don’t panic. The traffic specialist has few other marketing tricks up his sleeve.

Wiseman — a former soldier in the Australian army before turning his hand to law — has even paid homage to everyone’s favourite lawyer Saul Goodman.

Taking inspiration from the fictional Breaking Bad star, the Aussie lawyer has recreated iconic images of Goodman, in an apparent bid to attract clients.

Still not convinced Wiseman is the lawyer for you? Well he even uses the law firm account to document his immense strength.

Using hashtags such as “#DoesYourLawyerEvenLift” the solicitor records his topless lunchtime squat-sessions in an attempt to show would-be clients that he has brawn and brains in equal measure.

Finally, opting away from the traditional method of client testimonials, Wiseman has created a series of short clips to highlight just how satisfied potential clients will be if you chose his law firm.

Set to a jingle of “does your licence need saving? Do the wise thing, call Wiseman Lawyers” one video (embedded below) shows a series of people ‘dancing’ for joy having apparently given Wiseman a call.
