Obscenity lawyer backs face-sitters

The legal profession has been represented at today’s “face-sitting protest” by well-known obscenity law specialist Myles Jackman (the bearded man pictured above).

Campaigners gathered at Westminster this morning to voice their opposition to a draconian new porn law which means acts including spanking, caning, aggressive whipping, penetration by any object “associated with violence”, physical or verbal abuse (regardless of whether consent is given or not), urolagnia, role-playing as non-adults, physical restraint, humiliation, female ejaculation, strangulation, face-sitting, and fisting are now banned from internet porn sold in the UK.

The face-sitting ban resulting from the Audiovisual Media Services regulation 2014 — which states that any online paid-for porn such as Video on Demand (VoD) must adhere to the same rules set out for DVD production — particularly caught the imagination of protesters. Some of them even gave the practice a slightly creepy festive twist.
