Slaughter and May’s 1981 Christmas party — the 2014 mash-up

#MusicDontMatch

The law-themed YouTube find of the year was undoubtedly this footage of magic circle giant Slaughter and May from 1981, featuring no computers, smoking in the office and a comment about a female trainee’s “backside”.

The video was filmed on the day of Slaughters’ Christmas party, which makes up the latter part of the footage. The dodgy dad dancing is truly a sight to behold, with — as the you can see from the Vine clips below — the effect heightened when the 1980s solicitors’ moves are set to 2014 hits.
