Barrister who posted anti-Semitic tweets booted out of profession

Social media posts referenced Jews, pro-Zionists, Muslims and chavs

An unregistered barrister has been kicked out of the profession after posting a number of “seriously offensive” tweets, some of which were anti-Semitic.

A Bar Standards Board (BSB) tribunal heard yesterday how Ian Millard — who was called to the bar in 1991 — was the man behind a Twitter account that regularly posted shocking messages about “various groups of people including Jews, pro-Zionists, Muslims and people whom he referred to as chavs”.

According to the BSB finding published earlier today, Millard — who last held a practising certificate in 2007 — posted the offensive tweets in November 2014.

In one social media post — dated 21 November 2014 — he said:

Pro-Zionist, pro-Jew expenses cheat Michael Gove, now diminished shrunk to his true level (2 inches off the ground). Liar.

While in another, several days later, he tweeted:

Strange seeing Dominic Grieve, who reminds me of the days when many/most Conservative MPs were English gentlemen, not Jews or yobs.

But a quick glance of the former barrister’s timeline shows offensive posts as recently as this week. Just yesterday, he tweeted a poster bearing a Nazi slogan which roughly translates to ‘at the end stands the victor’.

Millard has told his 2,429 followers that broadcasters should “make audiences aware of the sheer fakery in the ‘holocaust’ narrative”, and has made a number of other Holocaust-related tweets:

It’s also worth bearing in mind his Twitter bio reads:

Born in 1956, the year of Khrushchev’s Secret Speech. The UK must bond with Europe and Russia. New society based on Threefold Social Order. Future superculture

Having taken the decision to boot Millard out of the profession — a decision that is open to appeal — BSB director of professional conduct Sara Jagger said:

The use of such offensive language is incompatible with the standards expected of barristers. The tribunal rightly found that such behaviour diminishes the trust and confidence the public places in the profession and the decision to disbar Mr Millard reflects this.

With his disbarment hitting national headlines in the last hour, Millard — continuing to post anti-Semitic messages — tweeted:

The latest news from Millard is that he’s planning to start a blog on “political, social, economic and historical topics” that he hopes will be up and running by next month — something for us all to look forward to.

Pointless article above the line, pointless comments below the line. This guy is a private individual who is entitled to his views. Removing him from the legal profession is closing the stable door after the horse has bolted, since it would appear that he has retired. Pointless virtue signaling by the BSB and the publications reporting this “news”. The only possiblemotive I can discern for this charade of publicly shaming a man who has broken no law of the realm is a need for all those involved to signal what utterly Good People™ they are.

Conspiracy theorists rarely succeed in life

Trumpenkrieg

Conspiracy theorists who succeed in life do so so because they are too smart to let on that they are conspiracy theorists.

Alex

They have sold the “Holocaust” conspiracy theory to great success. The difference may be conspiracy theories that the powers that be find useful or not.

So, yet another non-practising barrister gets struck off for being a knob.

80% of those called never got pupillage.

What this should really say is “BVC (or whatever it was called in 1991) graduate is stopped from ever realising his long-forgotten aspiration of practising at the Bar”.

Can’t you just write ‘anti-Jewish’? To perpetuate the nonsense ‘anti-semitic’ simply destroys the meaning of ‘semitic’ – which many people take to mean ‘Jewish’ these days.

Non-Practising barrister exercises freedom of speech, moreover does so in private capacity.
Regulatory body picks off easy yet pointless target.

Shalom Proelia. I had not commented for want of a compos mentis post. The first mentioned persecution of the Jews or of the Jews was the Israel stele aka Merneptah stele 1,208BC where Pharaoh Merneptah boasted of rubbing out the seed of the Jews.
Then we had Martin Luther’s seminal work The Jews and their Lies.
Then we had the Extraordinary work, The Protocol of the Elders of Zion 1903, I think.
What makes Jews so despised? Some Anon herein mentioned the “best men v the most men”.
The fact is the Jews have the smarts.
But as a Jew, I don’t like to see this man “booted out of the profession” for political reasons. I should much prefer a rational reason such as Compulsive Abuse Disorder, which some 40% of the people evince on the extraordinarily gross abuse of Miss Cambridge in this very site.

I should now like to tell a story.
Once upon a time I interviewed a white Jew. She was an officer of the IDF. I hired her on condition she did not reveal her background. We worked together and recorded the anti Jew “bantz” in the firm. When she left, I revealed she was a Jewish high ranking officer in the IDF. The principal of the firm was livid. (He was the worst offender). He sacked me on the spot. I said “We have recorded everything”. He immediately withdrew my sacking.

Did it change yo life Bruh Trumpenkrieg 🙂
There was a follow on to that story. About a year later I appeared in Hendon Family court ( near Golders Green) and guess who was the judge? All the other parties told me she was a Colonel in the IDF and she would have your guts for garters if you messed with her. True enough she ran the court with military discipline. I couldn’t help but run a comedian act. She kept a dead pan face throughout. Afterwards the other parties told me I was dead meat and my career was over 🙂

A colonel in the IDF. Formidable. Her experience of rifle-butting 12 year old children must have given her quite an edge working in the Family courts

Due to such concerns, Herr EinsatzgruppenfuhrerTrumpenkrieg, the standard issue IDF doesn’t really have much of a butt and comes with comfy pads.

Rifle butting isn’t recommended as one runs the risk of shooting one’s self in the face.

I don’t see what was so offensive about his comments. You either agree or disagree with them, but who was offended? Only a collection of liberalists. I hope he appeals and gets a better result. It seems as if anyone who disagrees passionately with the ideals of the liberal consensus is saying something “offensive”.

(2)(2)

Alex

We are told to be offended when someone speaks the truth about those in power.
