Corporate law dreams firmly on hold

A University of Westminster law graduate is being tipped for a top job in politics after being crowned Queen of the Jungle on last night’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

Georgia Toffolo, known as Toff, impressed viewers throughout her jungle stint with her positive attitude to tasks and her close friendships with her fellow campmates, most notably with Boris Johnson’s dad, Stanley. The 23-year-old Made in Chelsea star stormed the final after she secured the majority of more than nine million viewer votes, leaving former Hollyoaks actor Jamie Lomas and radio presenter Iain Lee to scoop second and third places respectively.

So what’s next for the Jungle Queen? According to reports, Toff — who is currently working for think tank Parliament Street — is being lined up for a role as a Conservative MP.

The latest comments from across Legal Cheek

Toff “would be a perfect candidate for parliament as she is a young, vibrant face of the future”, a party source told the Daily Star. The unnamed insider added: “She has the full package — intellect, charm, looks.”

Steven George-Hilley, director of Parliament Street, went as far as suggesting that Toff’s “proven survival skills” would make her the perfect Tory leader. He continued:

“Her brand of honest, warm-hearted politics is exactly what the public have been crying out for and the sooner she runs for parliament the better… Given the US president got his start on reality TV, we think the sky’s the limit for [Toff].”

In light of today’s reports it would appear that the well-spoken reality star’s corporate law ambitions are now firmly on hold. Earlier this month, Legal Cheek reported that Toff — who also studied politics at the Westminster university — had worked at a family-run solicitors firm in Devon and a divorce law specialist called Family Law in Partnership in London. We also understand that Toff has experience shadowing judges in court.
