Lawyer incorporates restaurant tips and Viagra quips into settlement offer letter — letter goes viral

A dispute between two US baseball players has spawned one of the most colourful settlement offer letters ever.

The letter was sent on Monday by KWKW&B lawyer Albert Watkins after his client, Jack Clark, was sued by fellow baseball player Albert Pujols following an accusation that Pujols had used performance enhancing drugs.

Watkins’ incredible piece of work — which is re-produced in full below — features, amongst other things, a recommendation for the best Italian restaurant in the Dominican Republic*, a philosophical aside about his grandfather’s funeral, comedic reflections on erectile dysfunction, and a request that his opponent call him “Al”…
