Initiative or desperation?

An unidentified law graduate has been spotted this morning handing out copies of his CV to lawyers getting on the escalator at Chancery Lane Tube station in central London.

The sign being held by the wannabe lawyer (pictured slightly blurrily above) reads:

“2:1 law graduate with LPC qualification

Great skill set and varied experience. Let me work for you.

Please collect my CV here.”

Needless to say, if anyone collected a CV, please send it through to us — tips@legalcheek.com / @legalcheek — and we’ll give the enterprising lad some more publicity.

For other law graduates considering similar tactics, may we suggest that you first consult Legal Cheek Jobs — where there are some great paralegal and graduate legal job positions, many of which lead to training contracts.

Hat tip to @ThomasWBarker for the photo.
