Lego judges are a thing
The internet has been going wild for these lego models of US Supreme Court Justices — posted by designer Maia Weinstock on her Flickr album.
Note that they are all women, with the images depicting Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan, plus Sandra Day O’Connor, the first female judge in the US Supreme Court, who retired in 2006.
The US has three out of nine Supreme Court judges, while the UK has just one out of 11 — Baroness Hale. Perhaps that’s why our lego judges are men …
