Thursday 5 June, 4pm to 6pm, taking place virtually
The Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) continues to present a formidable challenge to aspiring solicitors, with new assessment formats veering away from those that most law students are used to.
Join us on the afternoon of Thursday 5 June for our latest virtual student event in partnership with BPP University Law School, where we’ll be taking a deep dive into the ‘single best answer’ multiple-choice questions (MCQs) that aspiring solicitors need to master in order to pass the regime’s first stage, SQE1.
Time: 4pm to 6pm
Location: Virtual event
Level: Students, Graduates
The discussion will be led by BPP’s head of outreach and former City law firm partner Jonny Hurst, who will break down how SQE MCQs assess your knowledge of LLB subjects, and how best to approach and prepare for these questions. There will also be an opportunity to test yourself on a series of practice MCQs, followed by a detailed analysis of your answers. This is the perfect opportunity to get a glimpse into what preparing for SQE1 is really like.
Following the session, there will be virtual networking with the BPP University Law School team for follow-up questions and further careers advice.
Apply to attend. You’ll be asked to submit two questions for the speakers.
