Which SQE subjects do candidates find the hardest? — with BPP

Tuesday 15 July, 4pm to 6pm, taking place virtually

There’s no doubt that the sheer breadth of knowledge required to pass the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) presents a formidable challenge to candidates. With the regime now well underway, experience suggests that a solid understanding of the SRA’s functioning legal knowledge is essential for success in the assessments. Add to this the key legal skills tested in SQE2, and the catalogue of SQE content appears endless.

Join us on the afternoon of Tuesday 15 July for our latest virtual student event run in partnership with BPP University Law School, where we’ll delve into the variety of subjects covered in the SQE assessments, including those that candidates find most challenging.

Date: Tuesday 15 July 2025
Time: 4pm to 6pm
Location: Virtual event
Level: Students, Graduates

The workshop, which will be led by a senior member of the BPP SQE team, will then look to uncover the ways in which students should tackle these difficult topics. Also up for discussion will be the format of the examinations, and how this differs from what most students are used to.

After the session, there will be virtual networking with the BPP University Law School team for follow-up questions and further careers advice.

Register to attend.
