Wednesday 24 September, 4pm to 6pm, taking place virtually
THIS EVENT IS NOW FULLY BOOKED.
Join us on the afternoon of Wednesday 24 September for a virtual student event with Taylor Wessing exploring global M&A (mergers and acquisitions).
When companies merge or acquire, it’s not just deal lawyers involved in the process. These transactions are often complex and involve input from lawyers specialising in multiple practice areas across a firm.
Time: 4pm to 6pm
Location: Virtual event
Level: Students, Graduates
We’ll be bringing together a panel of Taylor Wessing lawyers who reflect this specialism mix. They will explore their role in these complex transactions, explaining how their work feeds into an M&A transaction, the typical tasks this involves and how they work collaboratively across different teams on these deals.
The speakers
• Emma Danks, head of the UK corporate group and co-head of the international corporate group
• Paul Thorpe, partner in emerging companies and M&A
• Katie Lewis, senior counsel in the tax and incentives group
Also up for discussion will be the latest trends influencing M&A transactions and how they are impacting law firms.
After short talks and a panel discussion there will be virtual networking with the speakers, trainees from the firm and members of the firm’s early careers team.
This event is now fully booked.
