The anatomy of a leveraged finance deal — with White & Case

Monday 3 November, 4pm to 6pm, taking place virtually

Join us on the afternoon of Monday 3 November for a virtual student event with White & Case.

Leveraged finance plays an increasingly important role in global capital markets and private equity transactions. But how does it actually work?

Hear from partners Colin Harley and Shane McDonald in White & Case’s London debt finance group as they share their experiences advising on high-profile leveraged buyouts, refinancings and cross-border financings. They will share how complex debt structures are put together, the roles of different stakeholders, and the challenges that arise in executing these transactions.

Date: Monday 3 November 2025
Time: 4pm to 6pm

Level: Students, Graduates

The panel will also provide commercial insight into current market trends and the impact of the macroeconomic environment on deal-making. They will also reflect on the skills that future lawyers need to be developing to ensure they thrive in this rapidly evolving landscape.
