Wednesday 1 July, 2pm to 4pm, taking place virtually

THIS EVENT IS NOW FULLY BOOKED.

Join us on the afternoon of Wednesday 1 July for a virtual workshop in partnership with The College of Legal Practice, where students, recruiters and SQE specialists come together to cover what to expect, how to prepare and what it really takes to get through the challenging assessments.

The session will be led by Steve Johnson, SQE1 module leader at The College of Legal Practice, alongside Rik Palmer, senior early careers advisor at Reed Smith, who will share their insights and advice having worked closely with students preparing for the SQE since its inception.

Date: Wednesday 1 July 2026
Time: 2pm to 4pm
Location: Virtual event
Level: Students, Graduates

You’ll also hear from a panel of current SQE students — including Amberin Bepari (future trainee at Reed Smith), Kenn Chin (solicitor apprentice at In-House Legal Solutions) and Courtney Taylor — who will share their experiences of choosing a provider, getting to grips with the assessments and preparing effectively from day one.

After a panel discussion and audience Q&A, there will be virtual networking with the speakers and other SQE experts from The College of Legal Practice for follow-up questions and further careers advice.

This event is now fully booked.
