What did magic circle law firm branding look like in 1930?
Judging by this photo of Allen & Overy‘s original sign from 1930 — which the firm tweeted recently — the answer is pretty much like law firm branding looks like today, with the addition of a few subtle ceriphs and minus the bright colours.
