What’s a “bappister”?
No we haven’t photo-shopped Essex Court Chambers‘ sign, it genuinely says “bappisters” — with this photo being tweeted today by top literary agent Oliver Munson. Could this be foul play from one of the magic circle set’s rivals?
The alternative is that Essex Court has launched some kind of fast-food sideline, with one tweeter suggesting that a bappister could involve bacon and brown sauce.
