Technology and emerging markets — with Clifford Chance

*FULLY BOOKED* Thursday 5 September at Clifford Chance London

Legal Cheek’s autumn 2019 student event season kicks off on the evening of Thursday 5 September at Clifford Chance’s Canary Wharf headquarters.

This event has been organised in response to demand from students, who want to hear about Clifford Chance’s work in both emerging markets and technology. We’ll be exploring how the two interact.

Date: Thursday 5 September
Time: 6pm to 8:30pm
Location: Clifford Chance, 10 Upper Bank Street, London, E14 5JJ
Level: Students, Graduates

The session will be opened by Jennifer Mbaluto, partner and co-head of East Africa, who specialises in TMT (Technology, Media and Telecommunications). She will be joined by Brian Harley, a foreign legal consultant who specialises in TMT, intellectual property and corporate M&A; Diego Ballon Ossio, a banking and finance senior associate; TMT associate Jenni Polson; and graduate recruitment specialist Yasmina Kone. Together these senior lawyers will discuss key technological developments in emerging markets. After the talks there will be a panel discussion chaired by a Legal Cheek journalist.

At the end of the night you’ll have the opportunity to chat to the speakers, Clifford Chance representatives and the firm’s graduate recruitment team over drinks and nibbles.

Apply to attend below. You’ll be asked to submit a CV and two questions for the speakers.

THIS EVENT IS NOW FULLY BOOKED.
