Guide to in-person fairs

Our in-person fairs take place in exhibition spaces where attendees can meet leading law firms and law schools face-to-face.

Exhibitors each have a stand which students can go up to and ask all of their burning questions. Exhibitor representatives often include members of the firms’ graduate recruitment teams as well as current trainees and lawyers. They will also bring merchandise and other marketing materials for students to take home — a great opportunity to stock up on legally-themed stationary!

In order to make the most out of our in-person fairs, we recommend that attendees do some research on the firms and other exhibitors they are interested in speaking to — use our Most List profiles to find out everything you need to know. Make sure to bring a list of questions with you to make a good impression and get your face known.

Throughout the course of the fairs, there will also be a number of commercial awareness workshops taking place, delivered by leading lawyers and legal education experts. Topics might include top tips for training contract applications or introductions to hot practice areas. Remember to bring a notepad so you can write down everything you learn.
