The latest episode of Netflix legal drama Better Call Saul confirms the long-running suspicion that the name of star lawyer ‘Saul Goodman’ is a spin on the words “It’s all good, man”.

Since it emerged during Breaking Bad — of which Better Call Saul is the prequel — that Goodman used to be known as Jimmy McGill, there has internet speculation about the origins of the Saul Goodman name.

And now, in episode four of the new legal drama, it has been confirmed — in a scene that flashes back to Goodman’s pre-lawyer past as a street hustler.
