Things to look out for in 2017
As we wave goodbye to 2016 and say a big hello to 2017, it’s time to start thinking about what this year had in store.
Though Brexit and Trump’s incoming presidency are dominating headlines, it looks like it’s going to be a particularly interesting year for lawyers and the legal profession. There’s certainly a whole host of topics law students and graduates should be looking out for.
Katie King, resident Legal Cheek journalist, mulls this over with Kimia Pezeshki, a recent GDL graduate who thinks tech and artificial intelligence will be big this year. As for legal education, there’s certainly an appetite among students for change, but will the Solicitors Regulation Authority deliver the change they hope for?
