THIS EVENT IS NOW FULLY BOOKED.

Join us on the afternoon of Wednesday 15 October for a virtual student and grad event with international law firm BCLP.

The theme is real estate finance, a key commercial awareness topic for aspiring lawyers — that includes everything from the future of cities to the rapid build out of AI data centres.

We’ll hear how lawyers at BCLP advise clients on the financial structuring of major real estate transactions and support clients through the lifecycle of these deals.

Date: Wednesday 15 October 2025
Time: 4pm to 6pm
Location: Virtual event
Level: Students, Graduates

Also on the agenda will be a look at the key trends shaping the real estate finance sector, including the impact of interest rate shifts, ESG considerations, and evolving investor priorities around areas like AI. We’ll learn how these changes are influencing legal practice and the strategic advice firms like BCLP provide.

The speakers

• Daniel Haines, associate in real estate finance
Kate Hamilton, former trainee solicitor in real estate finance
Dom Bridge, former trainee solicitor in real estate finance

The speakers will also share insights into their career journeys to date, offering reflections on the skills needed to thrive in this fast-paced and commercially driven area of law.

Following the panel discussion, there will be virtual networking with the speakers, BCLP trainees, and members of the firm’s graduate recruitment team.

This event is now fully booked.
