BPP experts guide you through the key topics, while current students share their insights and experiences
It is no surprise that the sheer amount of knowledge students need to absorb to pass the SQE can be overwhelming. To succeed, they must develop a strong grasp of the SRA’s Functioning Legal Knowledge as well as the key practical skills assessed in SQE2, making the exam content seem almost endless.
At a recent virtual student workshop held in partnership with BPP University Law School, head of outreach Jonny Hurst and head of law Hilaria Chadwick shared insights into the wide range of subjects students encounter when preparing for the SQE, and discussed which topics candidates tend to find most challenging.
We also heard from current SQE students Farooq Ahmed, Maria Shakir and Rebecca Dsouza who explained the unique format of the exams and how they differ from what most students have previously experienced in their studies.
Legal Cheek is running ‘The SQE series’ with BPP University Law School. The video of each session will be made available one month after each virtual event together with further FAQs arising from each session which SQE experts from BPP are answering.
