Spoof Fox News account fools Twitter with fake legal threat

For a moment we thought this was real.

The @FoxNewsPress Twitter account appeared overnight in response to the brilliant #FoxNewsFacts hashtag doing the rounds following said network’s claim that everybody in Birmingham is a Muslim and the city is a “no-go area”.

But the mundane reality is that in-house legal departments of huge news organisations don’t operate like this. So we’re backing The Mirror‘s declaration that the account is fake.
