During this event, partner Tom Bacon and associate Charlotte Boateng-Kennett will explore how M&A transactions come together in practice, the role lawyers play at different stages of a deal and some of the key trends currently shaping activity across the market. Drawing on their own experiences, the speakers will consider how changing conditions affect negotiations, deal structures and the advice clients need.
Tom and Charlotte will also share insights from their career journeys and offer students a sense of what working on major corporate transactions is really like.
Following a presentation and Q&A, there will be virtual networking with the speakers, BCLP trainees and members of the firm’s graduate recruitment team.
