SQE Success: Your route to qualification — with The College of Legal Practice and Reed Smith

Tuesday 29 July, 4pm to 6pm, taking place virtually

Join us on the afternoon of Tuesday 29 July for our latest virtual student event run in partnership with The College of Legal Practice, where we’ll provide an insight into preparing for the SQE, featuring those who’ve done it and the experts who guided them.

We’ll be hearing from Jane Waddell, head of curriculum development and design at The College, alongside Rik Palmer, graduate recruitment advisor at Reed Smith, who will share their experiences working closely with students preparing for the SQE in recent years.

Date: Tuesday 29 July 2025
Time: 4pm to 6pm
Location: Virtual event
Level: Students, Graduates

Joining them will be Tilly Twite, trainee solicitor and current SQE2 student at The College, who will address key topics such as how to choose a provider, what the SQE assessments involve, and how she prepared from day one.

After a panel discussion and audience Q&A, there will be virtual networking with the speakers and other SQE experts from The College of Legal Practice for follow-up questions and further careers advice.

Apply to attend. You’ll be asked to submit two questions for the speakers.
