SQE v LPC: which route is best for me? With BPP University Law School

Thursday 16 February, 4pm to 6pm, taking place virtually

Struggling to decide whether the Legal Practice Course (LPC) or the Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE) is the right route to qualification for you?

With both courses available over the next few years as the LPC is phased out, it can be difficult for students to know which course to choose. And as more leading firms commit to the SQE, is the LPC on its way out or still a perfectly good career choice?

Join us on the afternoon of Thursday 16 February for a virtual student event featuring careers experts from BPP University Law School, who will help students understand the differences between the two courses and the right path to take depending on their circumstances.

Date: Thursday 16 February 2023
Time: 4pm to 6pm
Location: Virtual event
Level: Students, Graduates

The speakers are Jonny Hurst, BPP’s Head of Outreach and former City law firm partner, and Kathleen O’Reilly, Head of Law at BPP Bristol and former solicitor.

Jonny and Kathleen will also address the ways in which these routes can help aspiring lawyers develop the skills needed for their future careers.

After the panel discussion there will be follow-up virtual networking with the BPP University Law School team.

Apply to attend. You’ll be asked to submit two questions for the speakers.
