Samantha Fogg

Samantha Fogg was diagnosed with a rare genetically inherited syndrome in 1995 and lost all the sight in her right eye. Unable to cope she developed a mental illness in the form of depression, which led to homelessness and rough sleeping. Now in her mid 30s she wishes to put her personal experiences of the mental health system to good use by becoming an advocate or lawyer specialising in mental health. She is currently a student at the University of Manchester's school of law.
