Viewers of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here the other night heard Hugo Taylor claim that his dad, SJ Berwin’s Tim Taylor QC, is a self-made man who ran a market stall selling flowers before he went into law.
Fans of the solicitor-advocate silk – who recently made a foray into reality TV himself – will of course know that Taylor junior was fibbing (as part of a challenge issued to him by the show’s bosses to lie about his father’s past).
Hugo was also ordered to claim that he’ll inherit £30m from Tim when he’s 30. Even for a big shot at SJ Berwin, where profit per equity partner stands at £635,000, that would be a stretch.
