Since Lorde’s number one hit ‘Royals’ stormed the charts last month, it has inspired a host of parodies — drawing upon themes spanning from clowns to puppies…and now lawyers.

The ‘Royals Legal Parody’ video, by the New Zealand law students behind the viral parodies of Robin Thicke’s ‘Blurred Lines’ and Akon’s ‘Smack That’, has already attracted over 35,000 views.

Those who listen carefully to the lyrics are provided with a fascinating insight into the mind of the wannabe lawyer. This optimistic verse, in particular, stands out:

“Suit up,
Work hard,
Driving in my Audi,
Big cash,
Sea views,
Fridays getting rowdy,
We’ll get there: we want that dream career!”
