Newcastle University law student makes baked appeal for training contract
A Newcastle University law student has not-so-subtly pitched for a job during a law society baking competition.
The quick thinking student clocked that lawyers — and potential future employers — from local firm Sintons Law were judging the competition. Adorning the top of the sponge cake — which was tweeted by the uni’s law society — was an appeal for a job in frosting that read:
“Hire me plz.”
Spelling aside, the Newcastle wannabe has shown the initiative and quick thinking that many law firms are looking for in their trainee recruits.
It’s not known if the appeal for a job was successful — or indeed, if the cake was any good.
