Speakers from Big Four giant PwC, lawtech pioneer Neota Logic and the Institute of Student Employers (ISE) will join a star-studded roster that includes solicitor super-exam architect Julie Brannan and Supreme Court innovation judge Lord Briggs at next month’s Future of Legal Education and Training Conference.

Keily Blair, PwC’s director of regulatory and commercial disputes, and ISE research analyst Samuel Gordon, will appear in the ‘What’s happening in other sectors’ fireside chat, alongside former Deliveroo general counsel Sam Harper and a senior figure at a leading employer from the banking and finance sector.

Neota Logic‘s managing director Rick Seabrook, and its education and community programmes director Maeve Lavelle, will share their insights in the Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE) discussion point session, alongside the likes of Durham Law School dean Professor Thom Brooks, UCL chair of law and professional ethics Professor Richard Moorhead, and Hogan Lovells training principal Crispin Rapinet.

To mark this final speaker announcement, for a limited time only Legal Cheek is offering an exclusive two delegate tickets for £400 + VAT deal. The offer is open until 11:59pm on Friday 20 April — and can be accessed here.

The Future of Legal Education and Training Conference takes place on Wednesday 23 May 2018 across three interlinked spaces at Kings Place London, the glamorous events space at King’s Cross that houses The Guardian on its upper floors, and neighbours Google’s new office.

Running from 8:30am until 5:30pm, the Conference is designed to prepare law firm graduate recruitment and learning & development teams for the SQE and other reforms. Delegates will be encouraged to think creatively, through a combination of TED-style talks, short interactive discussion points and Question Time-style panel discussions, about what comes next.

Alongside the Supreme Court’s Lord Briggs and the Solicitors Regulation Authority’s Julie Brannan, headline speakers include big name legal academics from the Russell Group and senior figures from magic circle law firm innovators Allen & Overy and Freshfields, plus representatives from leading tech companies.

More information about the Conference — which is sponsored by BPP University Law School, and supported by Neota Logic, Hardwicke and Bar Squared — can be found on our Conference page.

Bring a colleague — and hurry! This deal is for 12 days only and expires at 11:59pm on Friday 20 April. Purchase your pair of tickets now.
