A BPP spokesperson told Legal Cheek: “There was a systems error. We have apologised to those affected, are putting it right and taking steps to make sure it doesn’t happen again.”

The spokesperson added that 5% of BPP’s LPC students have been affected.

The news follows another serious error made by BPP earlier this year when it mistakenly dispatched emails informing students they had places on its Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) ahead of the official offer date.
