Legal news publication The Lawyer made a bit of an awkward blunder this morning, inadvertently offending the owner of the world’s largest law firm in its URL.

At about half 11 today, an article about Joe Andrew, the global chairman of Dentons, went live on the magazine’s website.

The story — titled Dentons’ Joe Andrew: Let’s make networks great again (nothing to do with Donald Trump) — featured a number of lengthy quotes from the City firm’s big boss.

Standard legal journalism stuff, but take a closer look at the article’s URL…

Yes, you’ve read it right. The URL reads “loon-andrew-rants”.

Very awkward.

When we contacted The Lawyer about this, the URL was quickly changed to the — much less hilarious — “lets-make-networks-great-again”.

The magazine did not respond to Legal Cheek‘s request for comment.
