You would be forgiven for thinking the image above was taken in the departure lounge of Heathrow airport. But unfortunately, for those pictured anyway, this is not the start of a holiday.
Many Bar Professional Training Courses (BPTCs) kicked off this week, and once again TK Maxx has been busy flogging wheelie suitcases to aspiring members of the bar.
The photo — taken from inside a BPTC lecture theatre at City University Law School earlier this month — shows a number of students embracing the airport luggage-look to cart their notoriously heavy practitioners’ textbooks around campus.
Legal Cheek is particularly impressed with the student on the left. Thinking outside the box, the wannabe barrister — clearly keen on avoiding high London rental prices — has managed to purchase a suitcase large enough to live in. Great work.
